This observation of Wilbur Wright struck me as I listened to the audiobook "The Wright Brothers" several weeks ago. None of us want to go through difficult experiences, or we may wonder "Why" when we do....But this statement reminds me of two scriptures in the Book of Mormon. One of them states how "It is the wind," or the difficult experiences we face in life, that actually propel or get us TO our promised land (or where God wants us to go). The second scripture is found in the Book of Mosiah, and it states that we go through difficult things so that we can later testify of Christ. The wind makes it so that we can later soar....
